Nakula Somana has been involved in various Community Arts projects since the 80s. Interested in mixed media and experimental work, he works as faculty on certificate courses in dance. Has made pieces for performances and regularly conducts classes using different forms.

Deepak Kurki Shivaswamy has been engaged in artistic work as a performer, creator and teacher since year 2000. He has trained and worked with dance companies like Attakkalari in India, Bodhi project in Austria, Danshuisstationzuid in Netherlands, Hausgemacht in Germany. He completed a post graduate diploma in choreography at S.E.A.D in Austria. His dance creations have been showcased in many venues in India and Europe.


Mirra Arun has been engaged in Movement Arts since 2002, starting her career with Attakkalari Centre For Movement Arts under the able guidance of her teacher Mr. Jayachandran Palazhy. She has been trained in Contemporary dance techniques, Kalaripayattu, Bharathanatyam and yoga. She has held movement workshops and performed in international dance festivals in over 12 countries in Europe and Asia. She is also a Yoga practitioner and an instructor certified by a1000 yoga. 

She works extensively in dance in education and is passionate about working with creative dance for children. Her experience with children ranges across age and backgrounds. A creator whose imagination and ideas are drawn by images, characters, emotions and issues, she is interested in experiemtnal works, street performances and community projects. She says, "I am still exploring! It is this exploration and the freedom of expression and perceptions that keeps my heart ticking towards movement and choreography."

Ranjan Mullaratt  is a professional Kalaripayettu martial artist. He started the Kalari Academy of Performing Arts (KAPA) Bangalore, which has inspired many to devote themselves to the daily practice of Kalaripayettu.

Sunitha Mysore Ramachandra is a theatre actor, facilitator and writer from Bangalore with training in Bharathanatyam and Carnatic classical music. As a young social worker, she gravitated towards theatre as a way of engaging with development work in urban communities. Since then, she has trained and worked with different theatre practitioners in the country. 


Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale (Directed by Neel Chaudhuri and Anirudh Nair of Tadpole Repertory 
and Wide Aisle Productions, Delhi), Woo Man Investigations (Choreographed and performed by 
Sunitha - developed at the Gati Summer Dance Residency 2012) and Ohta Shogo’s The Water Station 
(Directed by Sankar Venkateswaran, Theatre Roots and Wings, Thrissur) are some of the projects she 
has been part of recently. 

Sunitha pursues a keen interest in working with diverse communities using theatre, dance and music.

Pallavi Nopany has been engaged in arts education in different fields. Currently holds a diploma in movement arts from Attakalari, a diploma in Spanish from the University of Granada, a bachelors of Engineering degree, and has trained in western classical music for 8 years. She also dabbles with digital art using photoshop, and is interested in working with education systems which combine art in science, language, and health.

Meera Murthy has a Diploma in Movement Arts from Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. She feels all the arts forms and scientific principles are connected and she aims to explore these connections.
